How it Works
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
(As an ImpactAssets Client)

Source the investment, conduct due diligence and agree on an investment structure with the entity you want to invest in.

Ensure that there are adequate funds in the ImpactAssets DAF account to cover the investment and associated fees. Investment minimum applies.

Fill out and sign the ImpactAssets Investment Recommendation Form.
IMPACTASSETS’
RESPONSIBILITY

Conducts investment review*, document execution and funding.

Monitors the investment for the duration of the investment lifecycle.

Provides ongoing investment accounting, servicing and reporting.
ImpactAssets is the legal investor and fiduciary responsible for the investment.
*The primary purpose of ImpactAssets’ review is to confirm the incorporation of impact into a product/service, and a commitment to measure and report on that impact; conduct basic Anti-Money Laundering reviews; conduct IRS-compliance reviews; and gather information for fraud-detection. ImpactAssets will also review investment term clarity and serviceability and gather key information via a questionnaire to help populate ImpactAssets' system of record.

Investments that Qualify
While most asset classes, investment structures and industry sectors are accepted, organizations must align with ImpactAssets’ mission and have a commitment to measuring and reporting on their financial returns as well as social or environmental impact to be eligible.
Please note that it takes a minimum of 10-15 business days to process investments once all required documents and materials have been received, and more time may be required depending on the complexity of the investment. ImpactAssets retains sole discretion to approve or decline an investment recommendation.
