Ivy Wafford Duke headshot

At ImpactAssets, Ivy manages the legal and compliance functions. In addition to providing counsel for general corporate law and corporate governance, she also oversees regulatory compliance for the nonprofit, investment advisor and private investment operations. Practicing law for over 30 years, Ivy “grew up” in impact investing while working at Calvert Investments, where she also provided legal counsel to the Calvert Foundation and worked on the launch of its donor advised fund. 
 
More recently, Ivy was CCO for National Real Estate Advisors, and previously served as Counsel to investment advisers and investment companies at Seward & Kissel. Ivy started her career at Drinker Biddle & Reath where she first engaged with community-based nonprofit organizations through pro bono work. Ivy holds an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, and a J.D. and B.A. from the University of Virginia.
