Investment Overview:

RevFund uses a combination of traditional investment capital and venture philanthropy to invest in for-profit, early-stage startups with a double bottom line for purpose and profit in the ClimateTech and Health Equity sectors. Our investment strategy focuses on for-profit, scalable social enterprises that have the potential to create positive impact. We leverage our extensive network and expertise to support our founders in achieving their goals and maximizing their impact. We believe that this comprehensive approach can create sustainable and impactful outcomes for our portfolio companies and the communities they serve. At RevFund, we are committed to providing our investors with the opportunity to make a difference while generating financial returns. We offer a range of investment vehicles, including traditional investment, charitable giving, and recoverable grant vehicles, to ensure that our investors can choose how to invest based on their values and goals.

Company Differentiator:

As an impact fund, RevFund is committed to diligently measuring and reporting the impact across our portfolio. This isn't just to make informed funding decisions and meet investor expectations, but to ensure our objectives are backed by hard data. Recognizing that early-stage ventures might lack immediate impact data, we support them in implementing clear, measurable and validated impact model practices. By integrating impact modeling, companies not only fortify fundraising and sales but also uphold brand integrity. We've collaborated with ImpactableX, a platform tailor-made for startups. With ImpactableX, companies can develop their impact models, align metrics with global standards, and gain profound AI-powered insights. These insights empower us to achieve both substantial financial returns and tangible impact value.

Investment Example

RevFund made an investment in TadHealth, a mental health access management platform for K-12 school districts. TadHealth addresses a significant emerging societal problem: 19.9% of high school students seriously have considered suicide and the average student to counselor ration in the US is 1211:1. TadHealth is a HIPAA and FERPA compliant SaaS care coordination platform where individuals, organizations and professionals can interact on a single platform for mental health; the B2B solution integrates customers' own internal processes/care systems. TadHealth adds an additional 10% of available counselors to the network for students; saves counselors 189 hours per year spent booking appointments; counselors can save 82 hours per school assessment; and wellness coordinators can save 80 hours/year with an average of 200 referrals.
