ImpactAssets Charitable Funds

You can donate to all of the funds below through the The ImpactAssets Donor Advised Fund.

Wildfire Resilience

ImpactAssets Wildfire Resilience Charitable Fund

$5,000 = 750 acres of forest protected

In partnership with Rockefeller Foundation, the first $250,000 in donations made to the fund will be matched dollar for dollar.

Each year brings more fires burning out of control around the world. So far in 2021, there’s been a 57% increase in acres burned compared to 2020. While climate change plays a role in increasing wildfire risk, the core problem is a lack of funding to thin and maintain forests properly.

ImpactAssets Wildfire Resilience Charitable Fund supports forest management practices that create healthier forests and cleaner water for communities by investing in forest restoration projects, including forest thinning, restoring native trees and prescribed burns.

These practices have measurable benefits: reduced wildfire severity, lower carbon emissions, improved air quality, increased water supply and job creation. Your donation will support Blue Forest Conservation’s work catalyzing over $20 million in forest restoration and protect over 30,000 acres.

ImpactAssets Racial Equity and Economic Opportunity Fund

$5,000 = 5 new loans to small business owners every 2 years

ImpactAssets Racial Equity and Economic Opportunity Fund addresses structural inequities that create higher economic barriers to prosperity for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) small businesses and communities. Your donation will be invested in small business lending, workforce development, access to childcare, higher education and affordable housing. As loans are repaid, your donation will be recycled back into additional BIPOC communities in need.

ImpactAssets COVID Response Funds

$5,000 = testing for 1,000 essential workers

There is still a significant need to increase access to PPE, testing and treatment — with 68% of nurses still reporting reuse of single-use masks, and schools scrambling to secure enough PPE and hand sanitizer to safely reopen. BIPOC communities are disproportionately affected, and companies who have previously made progress towards social equity are struggling.

ImpactAssets COVID Response Funds address these immediate and evolving needs of the pandemic by investing in:

  • Companies on the frontline of fighting the pandemic.
  • High-impact climate and social equity-focused companies threatened by the economic downturn.
  • Businesses and communities with limited access to government aid, domestically and globally.
